MONICA HUNTER

Dr. Monica Hunter founded MH Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in Organizational Leadership and Development. Dr. Hunter has her Ph. D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Master’s in Human Services, emphasizing Child Development and Organizational Leadership and Development. She has collaborated well with diverse organizations and communities in Western Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, and Kern Counties as a consultant.

Dr. Hunter is committed to engaging communities and government in dialogue about creating viable solutions for the problems that people of color face. Dr. Hunter has always been committed to education, empowerment, and fostering a strong network. While serving the community as a board member for known nonprofit organizations, she is instrumental in integrating service, professionalism, and community activism into the mission and purpose of the community-based organizations with which she is affiliated. Partnerships with the Mayor’s office, educational institutions, charity fundraisers, civil and social justice advocacy projects, economic development training, membership engagement and branding, and community connection events were the hallmarks of her community affiliations.

Dr. Hunter continues to find opportunities to empower and equip the Riverside community by assisting faith-based institutions, community leaders, and community members with strategies, plans, and advisement. Dr. Hunter believes there are enough opportunities and resources for anyone to thrive and seeks out occasions to fulfill this vision.

Dr. Hunter considers herself a passionate community servant who can motivate and inspire individuals to identify their potential and continue to share this passion to serve others.
